Be Interesting…

This week has been a wild one, but the idea that has had me pondering has been to stay interesting.  It’s easy to blend in but standing out is much better.

We were not intended to be all the same like sheep or any other animal that look so similar to each other.  God intended us to all be unique and to use the different gifts he’s given us to do good in this world.  Some of us are great at making things, others have the gift of teaching, and some even have the gift of creativity.  We all have special gifts no matter who we are.

I am so thankful that God has made such a diverse and unique world for us to explore.  I have been able to be out in nature away from my usual destinations recently.  Getting into some new areas with different landscapes does wonders for me.  It gets me out of the day to day mundane routine and forces me to thing about how many different things God created for us.  From exploring lakes, to gardens, mountains, and even caves, there is always something new for us to explore.

Our lives should look that way as well.  There should be seasons in our lives that are always changing and growing.  I know I don’t want to look back at my life and wonder what could have been or that would have been cool to do.  I want to do the new, cool things now.  I want to make memories with my family that are more than just sitting around the house every evening.  I want to be interesting and the only way to become that is to do interesting things.

This week focus on doing something different, something to builds  you up, something that may be bigger than yourself.
