How do you show up? Are you the one 37 minutes early, fully prepared, and organized? Or are you 4 minutes late, in your pajamas, 2 different socks on, and have no clue what’s going on?

I’m not sure about you, but I have built a lot of walls. Not physical walls but mental and spiritual walls.

Why do we resist change most of the time? What is it about having a routine that is comforting?

Oftentimes our situations change outside of our control. We must adapt and overcome it. I know that sounds like a negative perspective, but it can also give us opportunities to grow.

What does it mean to be a bold person? I feel it means being someone who has integrity, is willing to stand up for what is right in the face of adversity and doesn’t mind being the only person willing to be that way in the room.

I struggled with staying motivated to move forward towards my goals, because I felt like a nobody. Who am I to expect to achieve my goals? Am I even worthy of the things I am working toward?

Are you tough? Do you know someone who is? What is tough?

Who is holding you back? Is it some random people, coworkers, friends or family, or is it yourself?

I was recently given a cap for my birthday. It was just a simple hat with a patch on it that says, “The Hell I Won’t.” I laughed at first, but I’m sure most people would read it and think its negative, redneck, or tasteless, but I see it differently. I see it as an outward expression of me taking charge of my life. 

What a crazy week we are going into. New president taking office, extreme weather, and a week to make your own changes! 

I did a little road trip over the weekend. It was a little over a 5 hour drive each way.

I was having a conversation the other day, and it made me look back on the choices I made as a young adult that formed me into who I am today. 

Well, the new year is almost here. I have spent a lot of time reflecting on the past year.

It is hard to do things that make you uncomfortable, especially when you are already hurting from something big in your life.

One thing that is consistent between everything in life is that actions are greater than words.

I have been struggling to look at the bright side of things lately.
